MORE CHA Summer 2010! Products, pictures and videos!

I can't WAIT to write this post!  There is so much to share with you about CHA, tons of new products and now there are so many links to great things as well!  But first.... some other things to get out of the way.

Here is my card for the DT challenge over at the "Follow Your Heart" blog:

From 2010-08-02

And here is a close up of "Aurora:"

From 2010-08-02

Our challenge this week was to use a new Aurora stamp and blue, green and pink.  I used my BG, B and R copics to color Aurora, and then also added lots of the Viva Decor Glitter Liner (love that stuff!).  Hope you like the card : )  I also did the shadow behind her with the copics, making lots and lots of dots.....should have done more I think to blend it out...but....next time : )

Now...onto CHA!  Like I said before, one of these days I am going to try to attend CHA, but until then I have to get my fix online, and over the weekend lots and lots of things appeared on CHA, so without any more introduction, get ready, grab some coffee, wine or whatever and lets visit CHA Summer 2010:

Cricut Imagine:  Wow! Wow! Wow!  This is the newest Cricut machine and it is impressive.  First of all the machine will cut images AND it is also a printer!  So....you can print out designs....then cut out the shapes!
Here is another blurb about the machine, and truthfully it sounds wonderful!  What will be interesting is what the machine will sell for (it is both a printer and electronic cutter), and the MSRP is $599 (way too pricey for me), but most stores should sell this machine for at least $100 less (I hope).

Here is a video of the machine in action:

Spellbinders:  A new manual die cutting machine that will take 8.5 x 11 paper and NEW dies that are large enough for scrapbookers!  These look amazing! And here is a link to the discussion on the new machine.

Slice:  A new, faster and more accurate Slice, the Slice "Elite," along with all of the new cards I linked to last week. Now...someone tell me how I justify getting a new Slice....sigh.  Here is a video (from Craft Critique)

StampTV:  Three great videos from Gina K!  Loved watching these videos, very fun and well done.

Paint Me Plaid:  Amazing posts on CHA, lots and lots of pictures, I felt like I was "there" at CHA when reading this blog!  And this is a good blog to save for future visits as well.

ScrapTime: Some cool videos and pictures here as well.

Paper Pile Kittens Blog:  Amazing collection of links to products that were previewed at CHA Summer 2010.  I didn't even get through all of the links there are so many!

Creating the Keepsakes Blog:  More fun videos to view.

Prima Booth Video:

Whew!  And that isn't everything either!  I will keep looking for more links, and still have a few I didn't list here yet.

Have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by.

CHA Summer 2010: WOW! Some GREAT things coming our way

Hi there everyone, hope your summer is going well.  I have to say that our summer has been one of the mildest in about 40 years, and I am LOVING every minute!  Nice days in the 80's, cooler evenings, almost perfect, and we have not had to deal with any real heat waves yet.

Before we get into all of the CHA links, I wanted to make sure that you go over to the Follow your Heart blog to sign up for some great blog candy!  And we are having a very special blog hop this Friday, an "old friend" has come back to visit, and you are going to love what you see!  And no, I can't give any more details then that, you are just going to have to check in here on Friday to see what I am talking about.

Oh, and I did register for the upcoming Copic certification in September.  If anyone is going (it is in Oakland), please let me know!  And once I am certified I am going to see about teaching some Copic coloring classes in my area, stay tuned.

And now, onto some fantastic CHA Summer 2010 links!  One of these days I am going to attend CHA, until then I have to attend CHA virtually (online) and there are an amazing amount of links to upcoming products and more.  Are you ready?  Here we go!

CHA Summer Trends Preview:  Great place to start and read about where the manufacturers are headed this year, and of course, to no surprise, everyone is keen on cost.  This is a great article to read if you are interested in some of the trends going on in the paper crafting world.

Spellbinders:  Wow!  Lots and lots of posts on their new releases....some of which I absolutely LOVE.  I also understand that there are a few more releases that will be revealed later this week (make sure to keep visiting their blog).

A Million Memories:  Amazing list of links revealing all sorts of goodies at CHA.  I spent over 30 minutes clicking around and still didn't get to all of the products.

17 Turtles:  Wait until you see this paper, it is absolutely ADORABLE!

Scrapscene:  Click on links to other company blogs for more CHA previews here.

Shimmerz Summer Collection:  A sneak peak at some new delicious colors!

Papercrafters Corner:  All sorts of paper and other great products featured here.

Scrapbook.com:  Lots and lots of new products being revealed here.

Two Peas in a Bucket:  Some really cute previews here as well.

Prima:  Fairy Flora collection, wonderful new collection of paper and other goodies.

Slice:  Lots of new design cards previewed here, I absolutely LOVED the Paper Reverie card!

Facebook:  If you are on facebook make sure to see which companies have facebook pages.  I have "liked" a whole group of companies and many of them are doing daily updates on CHA.

I will keep on tracking CHA this week for my post next Tuesday.  Hope the links I gave you today are enough to keep you busy for a bit : )

Don't forget to stop by Friday for another fun blog hop, and also get over to the Follow your Heart blog for some blog candy!

Take care everyone, thank you so very much for stopping by.
